The comforts of home at work
Our team was tapped by creative branding agency, Offset Partners, to develop a boutique office for their San Francisco branch that identified with their brand and provided the warmth of our residential interior design projects. With the clients’ deep personal and professional ties to Napa Valley, we enlisted artisans of the region for custom work, many of whom were the clients’ family and friends. We were inspired by the nature of Napa and Japanese simplicity and the material cultures of both.
After stripping the interior, we brought in new architectural detail and cabinetry as a partition between working areas. Hardscape finishes like concrete, steel, and mixed woods were used in lighter interpretations to create form in an airy space with tall ceilings. A subtle grey wash on the walls plays with daylight. The space centers around the agency’s extensive and impressive library with surrounding areas designed for moments of reflection, concentration, and collaboration.
